People have become accustomed to seeing BHOP perform at a high level for so long they neglect to comprehend that at 50, every week can make a drastic difference.
BHOP should make the fight, but not be as accommodating as he was last year when he offered little g the fight.
BHOP is the one in control and weight, venue, purse split should all be BHOP's decision.
K2 isn't in a position to dictate anything.

Where have all these quotes come from; I haven't seen any on-line?

Anyway, as much as Hopkins is still able to operate at a good level, I don't want this fight at all. B-Hop is just going to get beat up and it doesn't really do much for Golovkin either. Would rather him fight a prospect than a man on his way out

GGG Vs Hopkins is a far more competitive match than GGG Vs. Canelo.:deal

Here's a thought, I know a lot of people don't think anything of GGG's resume so would Hopkins improve it?

He has the best resume at MW, is a unified champ that technically holds 3 belts (although the wbc trinket is all but meaningless). People that don't think anything of his resume, generally don't think anything at all. :hey

I don't believe he'll benefit from it as much as Kovalev, and Kovalev really didn't gain a lot other than he didn't duck him like Golovkin did last year.
Really, the only doubt anyone has is BHOP's age, and he's one year older.

At 45, BHOP destroys Golovkin. :yep

On the scene, Tom is quoted saying that "IF" there was an opportunity to fight Bhop AFTER all other options (Canelo, BJS) are exhausted, they wouldn't be against the fight.

But el dropout obviously altered the message and added his own connotations to it.

No, totally pointless fight, the fact that Loeffler even mentions it as a possibility is absurd and shameful.

DeGale and Jack are both much harder fights than Chudinov

Abraham might beat him as well. Jack and DeGale beat him easily

Wow, so a lot of posters including CST feel that beef-jerky Hopkins is a viable challenge for Golovkin. :huh What do I know, I guess. I can't help feeling it would be a massacre even if BHop is heavier.
