Pirogs injury has robbed us of a great rivalry between him and GGG. Would have been one of the most skilled fights in middleweight history

 

Great fantasy match up, but I think Golovkin would have eventually broken Pirog down and taken him out. Pirog hit Ishida w/ everything for 12 rounds and Ishida was never in trouble.

 

Are we talking about the same Ishida that GGG bounced off the canvas and nearly out of the ring?

 

Yes. He took Pirog's best shots with no ill effects for the entire fight.

 

At the time they were saying Proksa was a worthy replacement for Pirog and on the same level. After Golovkin finished with him, Proksa's career took a bit of a left turn through bum alley.

 

Shifting was one of the many things Duran was a master at.

 

Ishida is tough though, GGG is his only ko loss.
It's a tough one to call but you have favour ggg I suppose because of his reliable chin.

yes but we are talking about the same pirog who flattened Danny Jacobs who took GGGs shots all night

Yeah I think Golovkin ruined Proksa though.
