Stop hiding behind other fighters and deflecting.

GG ain't done jack shi.t for a guy his age.

Ward has paid his dues...GG...not so much.

Wards ongoing promotional issues are GGG fault how?

They will fight. Golovkin even said the other day that he and Ward will fight. But not right now. Pretty sure the decision was made to move up to 168 after it was apparent that HBO and GBP were on the splits long term. 154 was once a target (GGG camp even offered Rosado catch weight, which to his credit he declined) , because so many payday fights were there.

No GBP = no 154, 154 off the table now monetarily. The past couple fights, its obvious that GGG is slowly building mass and if you watch the weigh ins closely doing heavier cuts. Compare Proksa Golovkin to Stevens Golovkin. Weight step up is coming.

But theres no rush until Ward gets his own **** sorted. Sanchez is also a good enough trainer to bring him slowly to 168 so hes not at a major mass/strength disadvantage when he gets there. Its pretty obvious really.

This is not a good fight. GGG will flatten this guy, but it's not GGG's fault. Blame Geale for passing on the fight, because Geale should have been his IBO mandatory, but now Adama is his mandatory challenger since Geale passed. Blame Martin Murray for passing on the fight as his WBA mandatory (he's passed at least twice now.) Blame Lou DiBella for refusing to put Martinez in the ring with GGG, not that Sergio's body is ready to get in the ring anyway. Hopefully a good opponent will man up in April and GGG will have a good fight on his hands then.

Blame GG for not challenging himself.

Ok so which MW do you think beats GGG? And which could he have actually faced that he didnt?

He got screwed hard by his old promoter, has only been with K2 a couple years. In that time he has made a lot of progress on the business end finally.

If a year from now he hasnt landed bigger fights, or announced a weight step-up to seek bigger fights then I might be inclined to agree with you.

You are aware that it takes two parties to sign a contract, aren't you? Just because GGG's team offers someone a fight doesn't mean they are forced to take it. GGG can offer all the fights he wants to challenging opponent, but if they won't take the fight there is nothing he can do about it. So explain how it's GGG's fault when opponents won't fight him? Are you saying it's his fault for being too good and scaring people off?
