If its at MW I would probably favour Golovkin as Ward may be drained. If its at SMW its tough to call as we havent seen either against a top undefeated fighter.
At 168 I'd favour Ward by UD or SD. He is younger, faster and more skilled. Usually when the boxer faces off with the puncher the boxer wins. Even though Ward lacks an explosive punch he is rugged and strong, and knows how to bully the opponent by dirty tactics. At MW or catch weight ... Well, it doesn't mather, because Ward will refuse to move down in weight, with reference to Golovkins lack of worthiness to make such outrageous demands :silly
GGG can box and cut off the ring. As a puncher, he is EXTRAORDINARY, so Ward will not be able to run and clinch for 12 rounds. Down goes Andre.
I've been on the edge of my seat when Ward faces power punchers, but he always seems to take that away from them
Ward's crouching defensive style won't work against GGG. GGG would batter him with clubbing right hands to his left temple.
Ward by humiliation. Froch and Abraham have fought tougher competition than GGG and Ward humiliated them. Ward is perhaps the most talented boxer in the world today and GGG could only hope to land a one punch KO.
Ward beats the **** out of GGG. What you gents fail to realize is that Ward has the power to keep him honest and the skills to dust his ass up. Possibly knock him out.
Arthur Abraham was able to tag Andre Ward with a few powershots, so you never now. I'll still bet my money on the headbutting horror from Michigan. Big punchers tends to get overrated due to their fan friendly style, and we don't know hos much pop Golovkin carries to the SMW.
Andre Ward doesn't knock people out. In the best of worlds he might score a stoppage. He's a bit like Joe Calzaghe but less eager to travel.
