Gennady Golovkin vs. Artur Beterbiev if both were the same size.

You're wrong. Golovkin has a better jab.

And LOL @ Beterbiev being defensively more responsible than Golovkin. That's just plain false.

Golovkin never moves his head and isn't as consistent with his guard as Beterbiev. Yes Golovkin has the better jab I agree. Beterbiev has the better ring IQ.

GGG has the better skillset, stamina, chin never been down, possibly equal power a really tough fight for both
where I think we would see a very mobile & behind the jab GGG...

Obviously, he isn't a drunk idiot in the ring. He's a world champ. A shot Arturo Gatti looked like Willie Pep against Pros vs Joes. The point is GGG is there to be hit. Especially against the better levels of competition like Brook and Canelo.

Golovkin not once, did he look this good in his career. This was against a primed out elite LHW with range, skill, power and movement. Nothing flashy from Beterbiev. But he is relentless with his guard. Look at how he's also got his hands up after every punch he throws. Never leaves his chin out there.

The idea that Golovkin will consistently land clean and flush on Beterbiev is flat out wrong.

I don't think he was talking about tidy hooks at medium range, but the kind of clubbing blows Beterbiev can get off in-close, the ones that generate more concussive force than would appear feasible, e.g. the punches which made Tavoris Cloud pay for his crude attempts to trap Beterbiev's right arm while uppercutting him with his free hand (Beterbiev responded by just hitting him much harder, repeatedly, with his own free hand, which was the beginning of the end for Cloud). Beterbiev isn't really an in-fighter, and a guy with a fine skillset at close quarters would nullify him in that range, but he is capable of punching very hard in-close, so, short of a really excellent chin or the chops to limit his connects and generally thwart his attempts to get off, he's going to hurt you there.

Brook / GGG was a slugfest because Golovkin went out to make it one.

Against Canelo, a great deal of what seems to be effective is not. Golovkin's defence is subtle, he does just enough to neutralise an attack. Beterbiev has a much worse defence than Golovkin in many ways. Artur's strength is in bulling people around the ring and smashing them up with his short jackhammer blows. It's a very good gameplan but I prefer the guy with the all-round, ATG skillset.

Derevyanchenko gave GGG trouble by giving him awkward and quickly maneuvered angles on the inside. I don't see how Beterbiev can be conceived to have a similar style.

There would be only 1 great fighter in that ring. Golovkin is a good fighter, but great he is not. Beterbiev is an ATG LHW.

Beterbiev crushes GGG and Canelo even if they were the same size.

GGG does everything better than Beterbiev. If they were the same size it would be one way traffic
