if vera wants to extend his career in boxing, he avoids this fight.

Vera will get hit solidly by left and rights. No need for jabs on this one.

    What for?

    GGG vs Geale
    GGG vs Macklin

    are both much better fights.

Vera lost to Kirkland, I highly doubt he is going to beat GGG.

Vera is ranked pretty high by one org right now and the win will help. One might say he's earned a shot at someone. Golovkin would be good but Quillin is another alternative.

vera is going nowhere. GGG would pulverize him.

Vera didn't impress me. Sergio basically made Dzinziruk shot anyway. When fighters lose like the way Dzinziruk did when he fought Sergio, they are never the same. Unfortunately, it just goes downhill from there. :verysad

Vera would basically be cannon fodder. But let's be real, if GGG wants to take a fight at the end of March, he won't get a high caliber opponent in the ring. I would think Pirog wants a tune up first...

Atleast Vera has the balls to give it a shot, so why not?

He didn't seem too affected mentally, just too slow, weak, with bad reflexes. It's hard to tell what he brought to Martinez since he'd been badly inactive before.
