Gennady Golovkin vs Chris Eubank jr.

I suspect GGG catches him at some point as Eubank is not too hard to find.

 

Honestly, if Eubank can survive, he can win a robbery in the UK. He has a very good chin, so in this corrupt sport it's a proven strategy to have your hype fighter survive and then win the fight via ''didn't get KO'd''.

So Golovkin would be a fool to fall into the trap of a UK fight, as Eubank, with his volume and chin, is perfect for this type of setup.

So could Eubank get through the fight? Froch claimed Eubank was hard to hurt, Groves nailed him a number of times and couldn't stop him. Now, Murray claimed Groves has a harder back hand than Golovkin but Golovkin's other punches were a bit harder all round. So Eubank probably can take Golovkin's power for a while. Golovkin would need to accumulate a lot more bombs than usual. The good news is that Eubank would possibly take permanent damage. But I think there's a decent chance he goes the distance.

 

GGG isn't really a one punch KO artist (although everybody can land the miracle punch)
Jr has a decent chin and would probably start running and spoiling if he was getting beat up.

Kind of sick of Jr not fighting regularly and wasting his career.
Korobov and Degale were good fights on paper but 2 fights in 2 years is pathetic and the Korobov injury was disappointing.

Jr needs to fight a decent scalp asap

GGG has earned the right to fight whoever he wants at this point

Even at GGGs age and in his current state, he still stops Eubank Jr.

The skill difference is very large and Eubank will get hit so much with jabs and power shots that he isnt going to see the final bell. The GGG jab will destroy Eubank in this fight. Eubank Jr is a fighter who is proven to be useless at getting inside a good jab, or beating a fighter with an elite level jab.

Eubank for his limitations is tough and can fight when the person in front of him holds his feet.

1. He has the genetics to take a shot............... his old man had one of the best chins I've seen.
2. Groves can bang and he went 12 rounds with him up at 168 as well.
