Stevens lands the 1-2 as Golovkins steps to him. Jabs brush the forehead of Stevens and Golovkin carefully drops in a right hand without narrowing the distance and walking into countering range anymore.

Golovkin is knocked back by a lead right hand. Stevens marches in past the high guard and lands some more right hands. Uppercut inside by Stevens. HARD BODY SHOT by Golovkin, rallying. Stevens counters off the ropes with right hands and left hooks, quickly returning to his shell. Golovkin is plastering Stevens with both fists, rubbing them along Stevens' high tight guard. Big looping right around the gloves by Golovkin. Left hook counter off the ropes by Stevens, quickly retracting into his shell. Right hand while ducking by Stevens, missing but eluding a Golovkin combo in a happy accident. Soft uppercut combos by Golovkin pressing Stevens into the ropes. Crisper right hand counters by Stevens but very few and far between, defending 90% of the time.
