Trickling through, not many clean - but I agree, it was clear for Golovkin unless you're biased for Stevens.

 

Round 7

Golovkin is flurrying Stevens into the ropes, keeping a high work rate, putting uppercuts and overhands together behind the piercing jab. Stevens is washed up against the ropes and tries decapitating Golovkin with big left hooks, just missing as Golovkin jerks back to reset. Stevens quickly goes back on defense after missing instead of following up, allowing Golovkin to get back to work. Big right hand by Stevens in the closing moments.

Golovkin is painting Stevens with the jab, using feathering strokes and setting up the right hand and the left hook to the body. Overhand right counter by Stevens, shaking Golovkin as he comes forward. Left hook by Stevens, again failing to discourage Golovkin's inexorable march forward. BIG LEFT HOOK TO THE LIVER BY GOLOVKIN!! STEVENS WAS BADLY HURT, drifting into the ropes. Big body shots by Golovkin. Right hand counter by Stevens, stumbling across the ring. Right hand lead by Golovkin. Stevens is on the ropes. Stevens buckles at the knees and parlays this into ducking a Golovkin flurry. BIG LEFT HOOK downstairs by Golovkin. Right hand shot up from a duck by Stevens. Uppercuts and thudding rights by Golovkin. Left hooks to the body. Stevens is pinned on the ropes. Straight volley to the face by Golovkin holding Stevens in a corner. Stevens runs along the ropes and gets tagged, legs going limp. Golovkin flurries. Stevens throws a left uppercut rising from bent knees, back on the ropes. BIG whipping right by Golovkin. Stevens is hurt in the corner.
