Yeah....that sentiment has been on the back of my mind, too. I mean, GGG doesn't just knock guys out...he hurts them.

I watched "GGG's Greatest Hits" on Youtube and I couldn't believe how many times he smashed a fighters nose to pieces or gave them horrific cuts...or both. Massive Blood loss (by the other fighter) is always a factor when GGG is in a fight.

 

Many fans including me hate the fact that GGG wastet a lot of time in Germany. Gena is already 32 years, what do you think how many time of his prime he still has?

I personally think with his style and work ethik - at least 2 years. What do you think?

A vastly superior fighter to GGG could not lose fights to Trout and Mayweather.

 

Was listenning to the British Box nation (which is pretty good by the way) because I still see the queen's face on my money (I am from Québec). I have been listenning to them because they don't have an agenda.


Anyway, the commentators were illarious. The one says: "Geale is the best guy GGG has ever fought" Macklin was sitting just beside him being the other commentator...

Bellew said he doesn't see anybody beating GGG basically from 154 to 168 (except Froch who has a good chin). His reasonning was that GGG is just to good overall, he has no weekness.

 

Is GGG really too big for Cotto?…Cotto was 166 vs Martinez. What was GGG tonight? He's usually always 170.

Also he's not physically a big guy, small legs, and not a broad back.

Maybe he's two inches taller and two inches longer. Size is no excuse to duck GGG in this fight.

 

Have you not been paying attention to GGG fights.

 

I give him a solid 4 years of prime, at least. He stays in shape, takes care of himself, and never eats too much punishment.

His style isn't as longevity-friendly as someone like Hopkins, but his countering ability will keep him fighting at a champioship level even after the pressure component of his game erodes.

 

Power is the last thing to go. He's not a super quick guy anyhow..relies on timing, technique and nuance. Those things never leave.

He's got three prime years left before we see some drop off.
