My troll senses are tingling :think Golovkin could have finished off Monroe earlier on, but he extended his match on purpose to put in more rounds. Monroe was practically out, Golovkin could have finished it early. Sorry to break it to you, but Lara had difficulty outboxing a technically inferior Canelo, and was dropped by Angulo. Neither of those men are as technically sound as Golovkin, or as powerful. What makes you think Lara could outbox Golovkin if he could not do it to Canelo? What makes you think someone with 12 knock outs who competes at junior middleweight can hurt Golovkin who is a natural middleweight, who hits like a heavyweight? How would Lara survive Golovkin's technical expertise, power and size advantage for 12 rounds? Canelo and Angulo, Vanes and Molina were hitting Lara AT WILL, what makes you think Golovkin will not be able to outbox or knock out Lara before 6 rounds if all of the men I listed were able to hit him and have their way with him? Monroe is a middleweight by the way, he can take punches from middleweights, and can dish out shots with MORE potency than someone who is a junior middleweight like Lara. Lara could not even hurt Canelo, he was on his bike for 12 rounds.
No it was GGG that gave a whuppin to not only Canelo in sparring, but a prime Angulo after El Perro got the better of Canelo. Canelo barely beat Lara by TRYING to fight like GGG. GGG is all wrong for Lara.
I would love to see this fight. A great offensive fighter vs a great defensive fighter. Assuming that Lara doesn't run all night like he did against Canelo this could be very entertaining.
Hitting Lara at will? I don't know what fights you've been watching. This dude is almost as crafty and elusive as Rigondeaux, Ward, and Mayweather, which is why people don't like watching him fight. If he paid a little more attention to offense he could gain some fans.
You should check your eyesight. Lara is nowhere near Rigondeaux, Ward, and Mayweather. Like 3 levels below
