    O’Sullivan is represented by Golden Boy Promotions so it makes the transition a lot easier should the rematch be cancelled.

    I like the dude but Spike is being severely overrated off his last fight.

    This is a supreme mismatch. Spike won't win a single 60 second span of the fight.

    This is a huge mismatch and I'll be shocked if my boy Spike wins a round. Most of my posts in this poll thread have been half tongue-in-cheek playing devil's advocate - but also half still incredulous at how badly people overrate Lemieux until this very day. He literally is Spike with a lower IQ, weaker chin, less focus on working the body, and slightly bigger pop. :nusenuse:

    I think Spike lasts at least as long as Davey - which means he's already in the home stretch and just has to make it another 4 rounds and change to see the final bell. :deal:

    I'm OK with it Spike is an Irish and they come to fight and put on a show for the fans. I've heard some say they would've preferred Andrade, but to be perfectly frank I've never really been overly impressed with American fighters (no offence - pun kind of intended) so I'm not disappointed.

    Lemieux seems reasonably tough and it was a tactical performance as opposed to one of his demolition jobs. Now I guess the question is was that owing to respect for Lemieux's power or because of a physical decline?

    Besides, I think Lemieux is better than Spike anyway.

    Seems like the final nail in the coffin for the Golovkin bs Alvarez II fight.
    Guess today we'll know if there's even the slightest chance of it still happening.
