for the vacant WBA middleweight title on the 24th of July. Good to see two young unbeaten prospects fighting for a vacant strap than the same old recycled crap you usual get. Who you got?
These two are really good fighters, this should be a high class affair. N'dam N'jikam is a very good mover, he's fast, he uses angles very well, he has a lot of offensive variety. He does lack that bit of power though, and I think that will be the difference. Golovkin is very fast himself and accurate with his punches and seems to have real knockout power, he's been scoring clean KO's. I just think Golovkin will prove to be that little more special and will score the knockout mid rounds.
Has this been confirmed? This is a super fight. I'm leaning towards Golovkin because N'Jikam's guard can sometimes be leaky and Golovkin is a big hitter. But N'Jikam has great movement and a lovely jab so it is possible he can get a points decision. Golovkin by stoppage is the likeliest result imo. I'm a fan of both, cannot wait for this, much better fight than the tripe we usually see on PPV.
Just about the best MW prospect vs. prospect fight that can be made. Any confirmation of this? It's a WOW fight!
4 Replies. :verysad Two of the most exciting prospects around in a really interesting styles clash. Both are sure to become world champions, a possible FOTY and the majority of ESB would rather discuss PEDs and cut off dates. ESB can be really **** sometimes.
Yup, it's on boxrec so it seems to be legit. Props to both fighters. None of "this built themselves up" and avoid each other for years. This is great for boxing. It will be sad to see one of them lose but someone has to.
I need to see of more Hassan. I have only seen him fight once and was not sold on him. b/c of that I have to go with Gennady. As a matter of fact the guy I saw him fight was also named Gennady.
That was his toughest opponent so far and he fought a very decent fight. There is bits and pieces of him on youtube. The fight you seen gives a good indication of where is at right now. He is a lovely boxer to watch.
I remember he knocked the guy clean out in the tenth. But his movement bothered me. It wasn't as controlled as it should have been imo. there were times when Gennady would hit him b/c he was pulling straight back. also his defense seemed a bit leaky on the inside. But it was a great left hook he knocked the guy out with, should be a good fight then. I have a few friends from cameroon who will be pulling for him big time.
Golovkin is on another skill level but N´dam is the physically stronger.. boxrec says the fight takes place in Kazakhstan i just hope we´ll ever get a chance to watch it if it happens..
