True, but Corbett was past his prime then and Jeffries was still far better than GGG. Besides, 10 rounds against much bigger, younger and stronger fighter isn't bad at all.
I don't know who wins, but Golovkin is not stopping Corbett early (if at all) when Corbett took bombs from Sullivan, Fitzsimmons, and Jefferies. Golovkin's power became mysteriously inconsistent when he stepped up in class and quite a few guys have remained on their feet with him. He's still a damn good boxer with underrated skills and would give Corbett a very tough challenge either way.
