I don't know if he's limited other than in his defense in that he looks pretty easy to hit, but he also does a good job turning and moving to avoid taking huge shots. And yes, good stoppage, Ouma was not going to make it another 7-8 minutes.

Golovkin never slowed down. I gotta say though if Ouma had power, Golovkin would have been in trouble.

Ouma was gassed and defence less good stoppage.

Golovkin isnt as great as people make him out to be.

    Good fight.

Ouma was outboxing his man for a lot of that fight. GGG's power was the determining factor though.

The scorecards at time of stoppage should be around 86-85 Kassim.

No way, Ouma was taking some real punishment. He's already redeemed himself for another big fight after this.

    I'm torn.

He was reduced to just relying on his chin. However, if there's one guy you give a chance to ride his chin to the final bell it's Ouma. Absolute warrior.

Had it been anyone else, it would be a perfect stoppage. He took some ridiculous shots, in the 9th and 10th.

Being him, it was less than ideal but still hard to really argue with.

It was obvious that Golovkin would mix it up in the later rounds but he didn't looked in shape at all

I don't know if it cracks my top 3 FOTY list (2011 has been pretty awesome) but it was very good and better than expected while it lasted. :good

We learned that Golovkin has some serious work to do as a pro, and of course we already knew about Ouma's heart and durability but it was a joy to be reminded of them.

good learning experience for golovkin though. ouma is a headache for just about anyone and GGG weathered the storm like a champ, people can say what they want about Golovkin but ive still got high hopes for him though

Golovkin is a slower starter but he keeps coming and gets stronger he is tough as nails.

That was a real war! GG clearly has to work on a few things before he takes on the big boys. Can't question his heart and toughness though. Ouma was frustrating the **** out of him but he never let up. Props to both guys!

Not many guys can fight Gena just like Ouma did. That was a high work rate and he ate some hard shots early that most guys would've backed off from.

I wonder if that long wait to get in the ring had a negative effect on Gena? Ouma was bouncing around that whole time while Gena was just talking with people.

Btw for those that care, Baldomir won a decision tonight in Argentina.
