Gennady Golovkin vs Kell Brook was a GOOD fight

Even if Brook was bigger, his bones couldn't take the beating and he was not hurting GGG. Sooner or later he'd be crippled vs GGG. That is when you know you have really bitten off way more than you can chew. Contrast Pac vs Margo, that was 12 rounds of high volume accumulation where Brook took 4 rounds only. 4 ****ing rounds and his eye was fractured. 4 effin rounds!

 

I respect the fact that he wanted the fight, but it wasn't Sugar Hagler. Brook had no business in the ring with GG. If Brook was a true MW it mightve been a totally different fight but he wasn't.

Golovkin knocked him out in the first half of the scheduled fight.

Not sure if you guys all had boners or something, but at no point did I feel Golovkin was in danger. Kell was blowing his wad, not hurting Golovkin. Most everybody picked a Golovkin KO 2-4 win. Sometimes we get carried away expecting a KO2 in certain matchups. KO5 isn't that far off fellas, haha.

 

Monzon fought Griffith and Napoles. They were qualified WW's who fight Monzon and fought him tough but in the end were just too small. Two HOF ww's. Hagler fought Duran, Leonard and Hearns...all former ww's and smaller. All were qualified to face Hagler. All 3 are in the HOF. GG faces Brook. Brook has only beaten Porter and dared to be great. Imo he was not qualified to fight GG. And he lost badly. Will Brook get into the HOF? We will see. Jmo

 

Floyd's entire career at welterweight was bringing up guys from lower weight classes and comprehensively beating them. Anyone who supported those fights should support GGG doing the same at middle with Brook.

Brook was badly hurt in round 1, he's lucky the round ended so he got out of it.

I thought Brook did some ok work but yes he was too small. Plenty of guy's could beat GGG if they were bigger, but Brook ain't going to grow any time soon.

If Canelo was GGGs size he would beat dat ass, but he's a midget and has no real chance
