Indeed it was. The 2nd round was outstanding.

Me too. Brook landed some corking shots that would've put a glass chinned middleweight like Quillin or Jacobs to sleep.

Difference is PBF started at 130 and was often the smaller man at 147 when he fought there.:deal: GGG started at 160 and brought up a career 147 fighter to fight at the full MW limit horrible comparison.

PBF started at 130 you ignorant ****ing troll. He didn't start his career at 147. Even still he was usually the smaller man at 147 when he fought.

Not every fight in Brook's career has been at 147, he's fought many times at 154.

Obvisouly you won't acknowledge that because GGG ethnic origin turns your stomach you racist POS.

It was I was listening on the radio and he has to remember many thought it wouldn't last two rounds, add to that how Brook came to fight it ticked the right boxes for what was after all a second choice hastily made fight, would of preferred Eubank though?

That's, less than 50 punches/round which for a welterweight like Brook, very low.

For comparison, Charlo-Williams averaged slightly over 60 punches landed per round over 5 rds.

It was entertaining but a mismatch, in skill too.
Brook was told by his corner, "as soon as you stop looking like the special one we're pulling you OUT"

Brook threw every single thing he could against a GGG that had NO RESPECT for him and promised a STREET FIGHT, WAR

GGG did exactly what he told us he would do, make a STREET fight in there. Watch how he fights Stevens and lemuix, he is a GREAT top of the elite fighter. his talent is OFF THE CHARTS, GREAT DEFENSE.

You fans that claim he has bad defense are the most ignorant trolls ever. How can anyone watch his fights and NOT SEE HOW HE FIGHTS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT with big punchers and non punchers.

How clueless can any fan be, serious most here are beyond clueless

Brook's greatest performance was against GGG. If many viewers didn't know who Brook was then they do now. He was a huge welterweight and looked similar size of GGG, it wasn't like Ggg was fighting a midget. Brook showed plenty of skill, enough to convince that he'd have beaten many middleweights that are not named Ggg. It was a great fight while it lasted.

You said it,trolls, anyone with an opinion that matters inc the boxers in his own division all think GGG is a truly special fighter and for those that would keep on banging on about his resume I'd agree he's missing fights against top A grade comp but that aside who else constantly fights top ten opposition in his division as much as GGG,we have Wilder facing no30 in his division and even AJ not much better,Canelo has gone from a guy who'd face top comp to what we see now and we see Eubank jnr is the worst of em all so it's true Canelo and GGG absoloutly need each other?
