Gennady Golovkin vs. Makoto Fuchigami & Zaurbek Baysangurov vs. Michel Soro RBR

Very close and uneventful round, btw - I have no problem with anyone scoring it for Baysangurov. Just preferred Soro's extra bit of work myself.

 

Round 2

They push together and Vann warns them to watch the heads. Baysangurov starts working some point blank right uppercuts while planking himself back, then hooks the body. Soro didn't get much off during that grinding session. He backs out and dances around the ring. Baysangurov corners him, and Soro ducks in behind his guard, getting caught in a headlock. Overhand right by Baysangurov, knocking Soro back. Body slashes by Baysangurov, pinning Soro against the ropes. Baysangurov loading up with big power downstairs. Big left jab knockdown scored by Soro!!! Baysangurov looks more embarrassed than hurt, but the stars haven't all cleared from his vision. Soro comes at him with fast clap-down high right hands. Soro pushes in and hooks with his left as Baysangurov grabs and holds his right arm. Soro watches Baysangurov from mid-range, wary of his arms getting grabbed. Body shots by Baysangurov.

10-8 Soro (and Baysangurov had been winning the round through 2 minutes!)
