    In 2006 Konecny lost wide to Michele Piccirillo, who himself had lost wide to Ricardo Mayorga in 2005 and was stopped by Vernon Forrest in 2007 and had lost to Cory Spinks in Italy in 2003.

    Baysangurov is leading with his left, alternate hooks and jabs coming forward while turning himself to the right to avoid counters. Soro is dancing around in a wide sweeping arc to his right, finding a second wind, landing some jabs to the head. Very even round halfway through. Baysangurov lunges with a jab, Soro slips and counters with his own. VERY fast and flashy combo by Soro, a right hand and left hook on the inside. Baysangurov lunges with a jab and Soro skips back to the ropes, then uses them for some extra momentum to zip past Baysangurov. Soro is walked to the ropes and Baysangurov sticks a wrist in his throat, tilting his head back. More clinching after they split. Baysangurov marches him back and slaps up top with a hook, caught partially on the back of Soro's right glove. Soro blocks Baysangurov's final attacks before the bell. Excellent defense by Soro in much of the 12th. Just barely enough jabs and counters to let him have it - really wasn't far off from a 10-10 candidate.

    Agreed.

    Had he fought in 10 & 11 the way he did in 12, he'd have just edged it out on my card (but still probably not got the official nod)
