Akberbajev had Oridiales looking pretty shaky at the end of the round after hurting him with a punch thrown off the ropes. Probably wouldn't have been that much longer before Akberbajev had found a way to finish the fight, regardless of the cut.

Boring fight between Uznikov and Jabbenough, and a TKO3 by cut for Akberbayev (much better)

Lee says he has alot of respect for Golovkin and Pirog. Cool stuff, rooting for Lee against Chavez.

The one thing that does make Fuchigami somewhat credible as a challenger is that upset over onetime world ranked contender and Sturm victim Koji Sato (which some Japanese scene experts at the time informed me wasn't even all that big an upset, as Sato isn't very highly regarded while Fuchigami is a bit of an ace at domestic level) - but really this is closer to the shallow Nunez/Tapia end of the pool for a world title bout than the adult swim of an Ouma or Simon...let alone the real deep waters...

Lee will destroy Chavez. When's the Golovkin fight coming up?

I'm guessing that can be blamed on Jabbarov's style?

Vyach is the type with whom you know exactly what you're getting - if someone willingly goes to war with him there will be sparks, but if they choose to be aloof he isn't apt to do much about it.
