ODH was nowherre near GGG`s level by that stage of his career and didn`t have the power of a middleweight as B-hop proved, that bodyshot would have put Manny away too, b-hop would hasve toyed with Manny at middle, because of his power, jab and reach alll advantages GGG has over Manny.

Same old biased pick and comments against the Pacman. Same old people before the Margarito - Pacquiao . Cotto - Pacquiao, ODLH - Pacquiao fights. Dadada too big, that that that too strong for pacquiao blah blah blah this that and the other reasons Pacman will lose. Whatever !
Probably same old excuses after the fight....

Pacquiao fought far greater opponents than Golovkin in every single way you can imagine. If being great at cutting off the ring is enough to trouble Pacquiao, then Pacquiao wouldn't be the accomplished arguably greatest of all time fighter he is today.

None of those fighters were as big or as powerful as GGG, Manny has never fought at 160.

Just how far up in weight do you think Manny can go up to and win, do you have a limit?

They will not of course fight at 160. The weight in should be 152-154lbs tops. That is fair considering Manny's 140lbs frame.

There`s no way GGG can get down to 154.

I remember when Pac moved up to 130 and Steward and Lampley was saying he’s just above his prime weight of 126. At 135 he has to take on Diaz literally as a tune up for that weight as he was already considered a small SFW. Then at 147 everyone thought ODLH would murder him. He beat Oscar and people rationalised it as him fighting a shot fighter. He dominated cotto, Hatton, Mosley, Margo, clottey all the same. His opponent wasn’t that shot, he was just that good.

At some point you gotta stop doubting the guy when he’s moving up in weight, it won’t be the first time he makes it look easy. The drugs accusation came precisely because of that.

And the reason why I think Pac could potentially beat GGG is just the rule of reference points. Everyone says it’s not a >b > c and that’s true but it does give you a good indicator on the level of fighters.

I see GGG = Canelo. Cotto with just a little bit better performance or on a good night may have > Canelo. Pac > Cotto.

Nobody ever thought Cotto would be able to go up to MW and beat a p4p MW champ at the time. Excuses was made for Martinez but IMO they were just different classes. The levels and reference points showed up before with their common opponent in Margarito.

Not legally no but if he cares to ask Canelo he can tell him how he goes up & down in weight with apparent ease but their again Canelo knows he'll never get busted AGAIN!!!!!!!

There is a way if he wants to. Even 300 lbs people can diet up to 100 lbs.
You mean there is no way he will do it....
