I'd rather say it compliments his opponent Martin Murray

    GGG kills Canelo.
I'd like to see Khytrov or Chudinov vs GGG. They could hurt him.

What makes him dangerous and difficult to fight is his relentless educated pressure and seriously good accuracy and combination punching. The guy is skilled with the style he uses. He's not a text book slick boxer, he's a smart pressure fighter with incredible accuracy and punch technique. Not forgetting a pretty solid chin.

I think Murray did exactly what I said he would.....lost every round, fought negatively, used his huge size to survive....and that's what he did ...survive..
Should have been stopped rounds earlier.
He had nooooo chance in there.

I appreciate that a fighter wants to finish the fight but when a guy has been dominated for the whole match, has been knocked down twice already, is in a ring with a dominant world champion who is widely considered the hardest pound for pound puncher on the planet, has almost zero chance of winning and is up against the ropes taking bombs and is wide open, the referee is imagining two possible headlines: "Controversial stoppage" and "Tragedy in the ring". It's a pretty damn easy decision to make, to choose between the two.

Saw this was for the WBC interim.. Does this mean Cotto must fight him now, or what?
Shouldn't be allowed any soft touches after taking a linear title of a literal cripple.

We would have to do a perma ban bet on this!!^^^^^ LOL,,,,, AND GGG fans call for a floyd fightat 154, why cant he make 155 against Canelo, you know what i mean, his fans claim he is too small for mw anyways.. but either its at 54-60 Canelo has a great shot at beating GGG imo.. agree to disagree

If i had to point out Golovkins biggest strength i'd say its his chin.

Murray isn't a monster puncher, but he hit Golovkin clean several times and never budged him.

At 168 though i think Froch would beat him up, and Ward would outbox him easily.

Personally, I would have waited until Golovkin put Murray down again before stopping it, but I don't think Murray would have survived the 11th anyway. There was plenty of time left in the round and he was taking a beating.

I think the commentors said he had been down once before.
