Asana, Kazakhstan is 11 hours ahead of US Eastern time. For those in the UK it's GMT +6. At the time of this post it is 11am there. So, assuming they stage their prizefights in Asana at roughly around the same time as the rest of the world the "main event" of what appears to be a single-fight card should start anywhere from 10-12 hours from now. Can anyone confirm this? It is being televised on both Russian and Kazakh TV. In any event, expect results to be up by noon EST.
No idea. I went to the websites of the Russian and Kazakh channels that Boxrec says are showing the fight, but it wasn't listed on either of their schedules. Considering it was moved by a week and all the way from Panama to Kazakhstan on about a week's notice, I'd be surprised if it actually is on live TV. Tape delay maybe.
FYI, here's Khabar TV's schedule: http://khabar.kz/kaz/programm/ I don't see a fight, or Golovkin's Kazakh name (Геннадий Геннадьевич Головкин. Hard to tell for sure though, since there's no good translator for Kazakh that I've found.
And here's Boets TV's schedule: http://www.boets.ru/teleprogram Once again, no new boxing, though they're showing a four year old replay of Gogiya-Bozic.
Translation would be 1 hour later, 20 by Kazakh time, 17 00 by Moscow, also translated on Sport 1(Ukraine).
one hour from now also Sport 2 Ukraine airs the bout live and they managed to put it on their schedule
Wow, Russian ring card girls are weird. Dancing choreographed to techno music between rounds instead of talking the card around the ring...
