Why do you think any American or "name" fighter would fight for short money off tv in Monte Carlo?

Human nature - always bitching about everything. GGG doesnt have to fight on 30 march, he has important fight on HBO in june, but he just want to stay busy and entertain his fans.

    Good point.

    I'd take Adama over Nashiro.

Others who probably wouldn't, but might: Brian Vera, David Lopez, Sebastian Zbik, Curtis Stevens, Sergio Mora

Who said anything about Americans or "name" boxers? The adjectives I used were "decent" and "middleweight".

The reason I suggested Brian Vera is because he's established himself as a middleweight, unlike Ishida and has actually said he wanted to fight GGG recently. The reason I think he'd fight for short money in Europe is because he's done it before without a world title on offer. Is that clear to you now?

Only thing to get excited about here is if GGG will be the first to stop Ishida. I really can't complain. Ishida will give GGG rounds (though I thought Lajuan Simon would too), and he'll stand his ground and fight unlike Rosado. Not a good fight to prepare for Pirog though.

Hopefully NBC sports picks this up. Their constant replay of the fight would help GGG's exposure in the US.

Golovkin is more and more like Chavez Sr in that Sr took stay busy puff fights all the time.

WTF are you talking about? What do you mean "even Chavez"

I'm no fan of JR but he's fought

    Martinez
    LEE
    Rubio
    ZBIK
    Duddy

That is significantly better than either Quillin or Geale. I've noticed you post some of the most consistently ******ed stuff.

Hey why not Vera, He is still labeled as a journeyman, but had a solid streak, that fight is better than ishida and adama.

the moment when the crowd begins to cheer for Ishida during his post fight victory interview over Kirkland is one of my favorite boxing moments. Him and his corner were legitimately shocked and excited the Americans were cheering for him. 10:15

Mismatch, just like his two other HBO fights. They can't at least find a durable MW who can punch to match him up against?

The guy wants to fight 5 times this year, why are people so upset some of these won't be top contenders.
People aren't exactly trying to fight him and this way he stays busy.
