What is this crap talk about ishidas chin? people here must understand that at a certain power you will get knocked out cold! regardless how good your chin is!
Believe me this shot would have KOed most middleweights for sure!!!!!!!!
So not a question about the chin! more a question about you generall defense! If you only block shots with your head like Ishida did (especially from a huge puncher) you will get KOed soner or later.

Other than Chavez, which is not happening, every one of those guys has passed once or multiple times already. Including Rubio

When he fights on HBO, it's not K2 that foots the bill, it's the network. It's good money also, way more than these contenders are making otherwise, Chavez excluded

It's a combination of both. Ishida has a sub par chin, and Golovkin has immense power.

When you combine those elements, you get what happened tonight.

I don't buy the sub par chin of Ishida. ANyone would have been KOed from that shot. Ishida lost caused his defense sucked and he got hit by a monster punch.

Hope its Geale or Macklin in June. Though after what Golovkin did tonight, don't be surprised if both look elsewhere.

How to manager your fighter against GGG in good conscience?

    :patsch Follow along, please!

He doesn't have a suspect chin because he got KTFO by Golovkin. Nobody is claiming such logic.

There were signs long before tonight, long before 99% of people ever saw Ishida on American television. It was always suspect...and those of us that long ago saw why knew for a fact that he would be KTFO by Golovkin because of that.

I picked GGG to KO him because of Ishida's poor defense. Ishida is a decent boxer, C level. He's easy to hit, has no pwer or speed. This is what lead to him getting KOed by a better boxer with crazy punching power. Saying a guy is suspect but yet never KOed, granted he doesn't have the greatest list on his record but William and Pirog couldn't put him down.

I missed it. I'm assuming GGG was the first to stop Ishida.
