Gennady Golovkin vs Ryoto Murata - Fight prediction - Should it be rescheduled?

Murata is ranked #5 at middleweight by The Ring.

That's not green. He's a champion and a top fighter.

Make the fight sooner, because soon they will have to start scraping the mould off of GGG if he gets any older.

BTW I'd love Munguia vs GGG after Murata. Both Jaime and Ryota are high volume exciting fighters and matched with Golovkin we will see a show for sure.

 

At 36 I doubt he is getting any more ripe.

He had 140 or so am fights, Olympic gold medallist..100+ pro rounds under his belt. Sure no big names but at this stage what more can be done to get him ready for the G?

 

Japan is talking about INCREASING restrictions.

If its rescheduled, it'll probably have to be elsewhere.

 

Murata holds a valid title, which makes him accountable.

 

Murata will be Golovkins, what, third or fourth best victory in his career... Strange to think he should avoid the matchup. Its a good one.

 

Great fight. Hope it happens but it seems Japan has become more restrictive due to Covid. If need be hold it stateside but damnit make the fight soon. I'm interested to see what GGG has left.
