Stay with me here IB. Can we talk about the 8th round? Why in your summary did you fail to mention Canelo's uppercut bomb with 41 seconds left, clearly the most eye catching punch of the whole round? And you didn't say much about all those combinations Canelo landed in the first minute, the left hooks, right hands, etc. I'm just wondering why. I mean surely you observed that massive uppercut by Canelo.

And the jabs, can you believe how off Compubox's jab numbers were? I mean wow. Please confirm that Canelo landed way more than 1 jab in that round lmao.

BCS8 if you get a chance please check those jab numbers for me. I've been accused of not being too objective so I really need you to check those timestamps in round 8 so you can test just how objective I am.

I had it 8-4 GGG the first time I watched it. If you watched the 12 round again, very few punches were landed by Alvarez. It looked flashy, but look at the replay...all those punches from the combos are blocked. GGG outworked Alvarez and won a clear but close decision.

Anyone who thinks Cabelo won this fight is deluded and totally bias.

Boxing is corrupt and has the fanboys to match Britney Spears" fan club.

Anyone who thinks Canelo landed only 1 jab in the 8th round needs glasses.

The wild thing is both sides think corruption and favoritism exist - in both the media and infrastructure of the sport - in either direction.

I've seen people claim HBO, for instance, were "incredibly biased" toward Canelo (despite Harold Lederman scoring it a comfortable 116-112 for Golovkin) and have also seen others claim the same network called it with a pro-GGG slant.

All the same has been said of BoxNation.

Lederman was heavily pro-Golovkin. Max questioned his scoring several times saying it could be 3-3 or even 4-2 Canelo halfway through. Roy Jones did more to highlight some of Canelo's work, and he tried to stay neutral. I thought in general, besides Lederman, HBO was pretty neutral, did well to question Lederman's pro-Golovkin card.

I listened to the box nation commentary of rounds 6-9 today and I was shocked how pro-Golovkin it was especially in rounds 7-9. The box nation commentary indicated Canelo won the 6th but didn't seem to give Canelo much credit in rounds 7-9. They were pretty much ignoring most of what Canelo was doing and just claiming Golovkin won those rounds by being busier, but they did notice that huge uppercut in the 8th round. I now want to go through the whole Box Nation commentary, all the rounds to see if the other rounds were as pro-Triple G as 7-9 were.

Golovkin was the beneficiary of so much favoritism in regards to the scoring of this fight. No wonder the majority had G winning with that kind of biased pro-Golovkin commentary from Box Nation especially and Lederman.

Harold showed favoritism towards GGG, because GGG clearly won the match, at best, it was 114-114, anyone who scored it for Canelo literally had to bend over backwards and cram their entire head up their ass looking for that extra round to give him. For the record I scored Horn-Pacquiao for Horn, so that clearly shows that I'm not effected by commentary in the least, and neither is IB. Most people should go into to most fights assuming the commentary team is going to dickride the favored fighter, so what.

By Cotto's brother in the first round, and he seemed to be slightly stunned by a shot from Kirkland early in their fight, but he hid it well, and GGG rocked him a couple of times.
