Yep and it's testament to how good he was and still is to have a young champ like Canelo being pushed as hard as was by Golovkin..

He's clearly aged to my eyes. Not as tight with his movements. A bit sloppier. A bit slower.

And plenty of people had him legitimately losing the second Canelo fight.

You know why a lot of people had Canelo winning? Because those people don’t know sh@t about boxing, they discredit the most important aspect of boxing, the jab! Golovkin was landing jabs at such a high percentage, that you’d think he was hitting a stone target.

Watch the fight in detail again and you’ll se what I mean, you’ll realize why CAnelo Doperez lost!

And yes, I realize age diminishes your abilities bit by bit, but he’s still the greatest middleweight out there!

Eh... people that claim the only reason someone else scored a fight differently is because they dont know boxing, is too basic and cliche.

The jab is a huge factor in boxing. True. Weighing its impact and effectiveness in a fight vs what the opponent is doing, to determine who is being more effective and winning rounds, is hardly as easily objectively verifiable as whose simply landing more jabs.

He barely got by Jacobs. He barely got by Canelo in the rematch. Hes now older and less active than he was then. I have little reason to see him as clearly better than those two right now and Id pick both to edge him if they fought in Golovkins next fight. So to me, he's not the best.

However, this next fight will show a lot. If Golovkin impresses, I'll come back and admit I was wrong about his current condition.

I agree, Golovkin didn’t prove a convincing with out a doubt win over his 2nd Canelo fight( he beat Canelo the first time easily), and he also didn’t have a with out a doubt convincing victory over Jacobs, but regardless, he still won all of his fights, thanks to his beautiful jab and pressure style.

But wait a second, why are we even discussing Canelo winning anything? The guy has been corrupt and juicing his entire career.

People call Canelo the face of boxing lol, more like boxing’s most potent poison.

Whats the Fury in your name for? Hughie or Tyson?

Just interesting to see someone so vehemently trash Canelo as a cheater, and poison for the sport, while simultaneously putting a fellow cheater, and a coke headed slob who milks his fans dry fighting a circuit of no hopers, in their name. Not sure how one sees Canelo as a poison and a cheater, and not Tyson as well.

I just find it ironic. But to each their own.
