lol, Golovkin will have the best opponent on this fight card as Sato and probably Masoe are worse than Simms...still he will take care of business faster than Sturm and Balzsay...

...I already see Golovkin in a title eliminator at 160 by the end of 2009...

That's an impressive opponent for a younger fighter like Golovkin. I'll be very interested to see how he stacks up. Hopefully he can interject some more life into the vapid 160 pound division.

Golovkin is a clear favorite in this fight. He should be able to show his talents.

It's Tarvis, not Travis, Simms and it's surely a huge difference among them. I just don't know how durable Tarvis is. He better be as hard as a rock to survive Golovkin's assault...

The same guy who was rumored to fight Sturm before UBP turned to Sato instead.
Perhaps they have more confidence in Golovkin than in Sturm? ;)

    :lol:Your post made me think,mate!

Good point! Golovkin is a rookie in the paid ranks.Nevertheless, his opponent is better than Sturm's one. Amazing!!!!!!!

Tarvis Simms is a poor man's Travis Simms... He's the other half but the sorry one just like Bobby Pacqaio..

    Golovkin beats him easily.

GG is a badass. I remember watching him in the 2000 olympics and thinking what a mark he'd make in the pros the following years, but then he stayed back in the ams and fought in the athens games. I was worried
he'd be the felix savon of the soviets but glad he turned pro. There's no doubt gennady will be world champ within 2 years. He's a complete and matured fighter.

TARVIS Simms, not Travis Simms. Tarvis is trash. Maybe not trash, but not nearly as good as his brother.
