Hearns actually took a lot of punishment before succumbing against Hagler. He never took it that well again. He was never overly durable but his legs got old pretty quick.
I'd have to check some more of his bouts. Hearns was obviously faded where as it will be harder to tell with GGG i think as he is still durable and effective.
This guy is not Thomas Hearns. Hearns would be working up and down with his jab and setting up the right. Golovkin could not fight this way against Hearns.
Who is the guy he is grabbing onto here? Is he some well known MMA fighter? I think Roldan hit harder than Leonard, the point is the land the punches.
Here is Hearns vs. Andries at 175.. See the difference. Jabbing and waiting for the right counter. It is just a different quality than those guys. This content is protected
No way could Hearns dominate v GGG, he never faced a jab as good or as consistant as GGG`s and the body punching would be very bad for Hearns also.
Tommy looks slower than GGG here and was getting off the center line after punching, GGG is way smarter with his offence than Andries was, bad comparison.
Tommy would have missed even more v Canelo, Tommy missed more punches percentage wise adding up all his middleweight fights than GG has.
