Again I ask, who has Golovkin beat?

I also ask, why was Golovkin so ineffective at hurting Jacobs who has a much worse chin than Hearns, and is much less skilled.

Another question is why didn't Golovkin make en effort to hurt Canelo? Did it have anything to do with Canelo's speed and counter punching skills? Have you seen Hearns fight? Not many fighters in the HISTORY of the sport can throw punches as fats as he did with the kind of one punch KO power.

There isn't anything GGG can do better. The only chance Golovkin has is a punchers chance, but if he's going to fight afraid of getting punched back and conform with the jab like he did against Canelo, then I doubt he even has much of a chance at that.

Who has Hearns beat at MW? Is there anyone he beat that is comparable to GGG from a talent standpoint?

this is fair argument isnt it?

lets look just south of MW. at LMW he stopped Duran and beat Benitez. Thisis way in excess of Gs best of beating a top contender.

then lets look just north of MW. He drew with SRL, beat Hill and Andries at LHW. Again way in excess of G's best.

Yet at MW his best effort is Roldan, because multiweight titlist Barkley stopped him early. G has the better result at MW with his draw with elite Canelo. though to be fair, G is a lesser fighter than multiweight Barkley.

My thinking is theres fair evidence at MW G might stop him, and solid evidence outside MW that Hearns outboxes G.

There is ATGs on Hearns resume, and he has Virgil Hill at LtHW.

Golovkin has proven to be timid against fighters who will punch him back. I don't expect him to change that, especially against someone as fast and as strong as Hearns.

Hearns also has an 8" reach advantage and throws a much better jab than GGG, so forget about GGG outjabbing him.

Also, GGG doesn't fight nearly as aggressive as Barkley or Marvin Hagler, GGG uses mostly his jab if his opponent can punch back. Hagler and Barkley brought the fight to Hearns and even then Barley was losing every round.

I really don't see what GGG can do better than Hearns to secure a win. All Golovkin has is a punchers chance, and even then GGG is not a one punch KO fighter.

Who? at MW? He is an ATG WW, but I don't see this awesome power at 160, nor the names on his resume at 160 that are ATG as you claim? Virgil Hill is a nice win, but hardly what I would look to build my case on

He's an ATG period, not just WW.

GGG will be lucky to be a HoF. Watching them fight you can clearly see the difference in levels.

This particular snippet made me laugh up my sandy.

I'm still rather astounded at how underrated great contemporary fighters are... always.. I've noticed this since Larry Holmes. And in research see it is much older than that.

why, a multiweight champ is a superior acheivement to one division.

but 3G remains the more accomplished MW.

    Would make sense if :

    1. Canelo did not have twice the chin of Hearns.
    2. Hagler fought Tommy as an old man.
    3. You chan show us where in 24 rounds Canelo wobbled GGG.

    Based on what exactly?

Hearns is much much more skilled and accomplished than Jacobs, and Golovkin put together.

Awful match up for GGG featuring a boxer with a wicked jab, good handspeed and power to hurt GGG.

What about the Shuler win????? Demolished an unbeaten prospect in under a round.

GGG wins it. Tommy was fantastic at 147, but just isn’t durable enough to hang in there with one of the best punchers ever at 160 pounds.

GGG has under rated skills. Unfortunately we didn’t see him in his prime vs quality opposition. That happen later in his career. Too bad the judges screwed him in both Canelo fights.

I'd say that Jacob's is better than anyone Hearns beat at MW. So is Canelo. I personally didn't give any of the Canelo fights to Golovkin, but most do and they were very close in any case imo.
