God i want that fight more than any other. Lara couldn't even outbox vanes for fuksake. He couldn't handle Angulo's uneducated heat but he's going to stand up to GGG?! Canelo with his BS stamina tracked him down and Lara wanted nothing to do with those bodyshots.

I just wanna see this cuban get run over so bad by GGG. More than any matchup in boxing.

AND i don't wanna hear about size. Lara was 168 vs Ishe and GGG was 170 tonight. Smaller than Canelo was (171) when he took Lara.

They didn't take unofficial weights unfortunately. he looked huge and more muscular than ever before though- but it could just be from being a lot leaner.

His last known fight night weight was 171 against lara.

 

After that ring interview Max looked at the camera like "s.hit just got real! "

Welp now we know GGG would moider Trout.

I think Lara is a much better boxer/harder puncher than Monroe but he's more of a 1-2 guy than a combo puncher. If Angulo can get to Lara twice over 10, then it should be a wipeout for GGG. I say go for it and shame Alvarez into taking the fight by making his best 'win' look bad.

 

Believe me, I want to be wrong. I would like to think he opened himself up and slowed down just to encourage some big names to take him on.

 

I do hope Lara makes it on the GGG menu before the end of 2015.
