I know a local (Melbourne) promoter was trying to make a fight down here with Kats. and a Melbourne based fighter (not at liberty to say as fight hasn't been made yet), but I do know Kats' trainer has been lobbying for the Earl fight.

 

How many people is Kats lining up? i first heard a Sydney based fighter (although he does spend time in melbourne) also with a melbourne based promoter lining it up...

I should say that Bobby Sinn has his finger on the pulse more than most, and i cannot take all the credit for my inside word. There is more than a big hint in Bobby's reply, but the fight hasn't yet been made and it is apparent that Kat's team are pushing for Earl as their opponent, going so far as lobbying pommy boxing press.

 

I get the feeling, for no real reason, that Kats will have a bout in Melbourne against the un-named opponent. Prolly two weeks away from any formal announcement.
