On 31/7/10 Gennady Golovkin is scheduled to fight 22yr old Columbian Milton Nunez in Mexico
for the WBA world Middleweight title.

    Nunez 21-1-1 World ranking 240

Seems like Golovkin has climbed aboard the South American band wagon.

Boxing has become a pile of **** when a #240 ranked fighter can fight for a title.

To fight for a vacant world title ranked that far out.....Golovkins new promoter must have some pull.

I bet the other 13 guys in the top 15 are pissed off

    Wrong Ashley.
If Mundine had fought Golovkin, win or lose he would have regained some credibility and respect. A win [ although highly unlikely ] would have set him off on a much different path to the one he's chosen now.

He might meet WBA criteria but he's far from being a credible opponent.

What does that say about Mandy ? He wouldn't even give it a shot
    in his own back yard.

    Agree with that too Stiffy.

I guess though that at least Briggsy was once great.

The guy at #240 has obviously not achieved greatness and probably never will.

....having said that, he might be world champion very shortly!!
