From a critical standpoint he still hasn't completly got rid of the amateur style and should loosen up, box more, use more angles and be lighter on his feet, but the natural sense for the openings and the way he can time opponents is very impressive, and he has some nice skills too. Vs. a Hassan N'Dam it will world like a charm, but he'll have difficulties with Sturm, though I think his power will break through. Golovkin is really really good just far from being a finished product as a pro, and his current training team/circumstances might be holding him back a bit. But he's one of the best prospects out there. BTW he's from Kazakhstan which is Central-Asia.
