    Terrible thread. Canelo willingly chose to bring up a welterweight without any significant wins at 147.

    Golovkin tried to get Canelo, BJS before the IBF ordered him to fight his mandatory... which was Johnson before he got hurt in which now it become Wade.

    There should be no criticism at all. In fact, we should be glad there are fighters out there who will fight their mandatories *cough, cough*

    It's not as if Golovkin went out and said "give me the easiest opponent". He tried to get a unification which would've surpassed the mandatory, and they declined. So he now has to fulfill his obligations.

    If anyone deserves criticism it's the IBF for the ****py rankings.

    He did, he actually even lived here and started his pro career in Universum. I met him once and we sparred. He was a beast even back then, before he became famous.
