Thanks Grant..........that was also very helpful..... It seems like he was a little provocative and really sure of him self. I found lots of stuff in those archives which sheds further light on him. Corbett can be seen on film for 26 minutes vs Fitzsimmons, sparring for W.W. I bonds with Kid McCoy ( film is up close and clear, and Corbett looks very quick ), mock sparring with John L Sullivan in 1910 in Jim Jeffries camp, and doing a demonstration with Gene Tunney. You can purchase a Jim Corbett DVD with all of the above ( Except the Tunney stuff which is on line ) for about $30.00.
