Genuine Question: If England clashes with AJ PPV will an injury occur?

    If England finish 3rd in their group, their last 16 match will be most likely vs Spain for the entire duration of the Sky Joshua PPV.

    Even the most hardcore boxing fans are unlikely to stop watching England in knockout tournament football on freebies TV vs a big team to PPV watch Joshua vs Brezeale.

    Even those that have paid for tickets (only about 10,000 so far apparently) would actually populate the arena until the England match had concluded. Which if it goes to extra time and penalties would be gone 11pm.

    England's deciding fixture vs the very underated Slovakia (who beat Germany 3-1 last weekend in Germany) is on the Monday.

    If the result of that game means England's knockout last 16 game clashes with the PPV, does it get pulled ... For understandable commercial reasons?

    England wont finish 3rd in the group so no need to worry.

    If joshua genuinely got injured the card would go on sky sports. Groves and Murray top of the bill

    It certainly would be interesting if it did happen. As you say, 90% of the country would be watching the footy even if it was a good fight so I don't know where that would leave the event. They could only put the fight back so far before it would mean people missing last trains home etc.

    Depends on how hard the clash is.
    Joshua and 3 players carried off, with 2 only pretending to be injured trying to screw Joshi over with a red card. :bart

    Not intrested in either for the same reasons

    Over paid over hyped hype jobs

    Joshua needs to step it up you cannot have the world title and say we went ready for x y and z

    Sky rescheduled The gloves are off tonight to avoid it clashing with the Germany match. It does make you wonder what would happen.

    So you can come 3rd in the group and still go through to the knockout round stages ??

    That's crazy. In boxing terms it's similar to not having a single win over a proven contender .... and yet being a PPV fighter billed as a world champion. :D

    If England fail to beat Wales this actually may happen! Still dont think it will happen, would love to see Hearn's face if it did though.
