I love On The Ropes. But... I just wonder how you can spend so much time talking to Sergio Martinez without even mentioning the other middleweight champions: Felix Sturm, Dmitry Pirog and Gennady Golovkin. He spent the whole time talking about Chavez Jr and the other weight classes. Is Chavez really better than those other 3 title holders? And why should Sergio move up or down before unifying MW? If all the interiewers are this nice to Sergio, he'll have no problem ducking Sturm, Pirog and Golovkin.
Well, we've had Sergio on our show 5 times total and we've asked him about those guys before. Also, we didn't spend that much time talking about Chavez Junior, and fights against Pac or Floyd and fights against the best at 168 are honestly the most intriguing and interesting options available for Sergio at this time. Fights between him and Sturm or Pirog (both of whom have shown little interest in facing Sergio) aren't all that appealing. A fight with Golovkin, however, is in my view.
