Bruno's best win was against McCall, but Bruno's prime was before that, someone's best win doesn't mean it was their prime

He wasn't washed, he was in the dead centre of his prime. His best performance came a year or so later. There is noway a human being on this earth who calls themselves a boxing fan can watch Andrade vs Sulecki and honestly tell themselves that Andrade is better than Giardello. It isn't possible.

He was better for his time maybe, but Andrade is bigger, more athletic, way faster hands and is a southpaw and would've beaten him, the advantages are too much to overcome from Giardello

You don’t even seem to believe that yourself. There is a massive gulf in quality between these two.

Picking Benton to sweep current 160 and 168 is one of the crazier things I’ve heard on here. Hipster nonsense.

All I see is two different styles, I see no huge gulf in class, Giardello is the better 'technical' boxer, but Andrade is way more athletic, bigger and has faster hands

Andrade beat Porter, Trout, Jacobs and Thurman in the ams. He can fight.

I find it really difficult to compare these guys to The Mayor....I know size does not matter (or so the story goes) but he would probably be 15lbs lighter at fight time than these guys.

I feel comfortable picking GGG, Canelo to beat him and Charlo and Jacob’s (Jacob’s is a big middle) close to 50/50 type of fights

Benton would do just fine today. GGG and Canelo would win. Charlo and Jacobs would be toss ups because Benton was very slippery and he'd be very frustrating for them. Whether he actually wins or not is a close call. Benton vs Andrade would be very interesting given Andrade is a big middle and also a southpaw. Real answer is Benton fits into the top 10 comfortably but he has a very hard barrier to being champ....not unlike when he actually fought.

Boxing has somewhat evolved but some select fighters like Benton would definitely make world level today. His defense was immaculate

There are is no way he was better than Canelo though, Canelo would definitely be world champion in that era at some point
Canelo has beat better fighters than Benton already and if Benton was on the level of Canelo he definitely would’ve won a world title
