Thanks Dougie, for this wonderful document...What tragedy followed Chubalo after this period..He lost his wife and sons...There might have been better heavyweights than Chuvalo, but none tougher or sturdier..

A tough, tough man with a huge heart......and not only in the ring

 

Chuvalo is an amazing gentleman, as I read his personal life's story they ended it very appropriately by saying the shots he took outside the ring (ie the death of his sons due to drugs and his wife's suicide), were far harder than anything he had to take inside the ring. And what does he do about it. He goes to schools and warning kids about the dangers of drugs..what a class act.
