He ofught Foreman, Ali, and Frazier and he's never Ko'ed. Even the bonecrushing Foreman couldn't put him down and the ref stopped the fight cause of a cut, not cause he couldn't take Foremans shot's cause he was taking them well.
Chuvalo was never knocked down.I believe Margo has hit the canvas once or twice before.Correct me if I am wrong..
I'll go with Chuvalo. Impossible to find a tougher guy, and he fought some of the hardest hitter the sport has ever seen without ever taking a backwards step, or being KO'd. (When he was fighting Foreman and just getting whaled on by Big George, his reaction to the stopping the fight, despite the fact that his corner was also throwing in the towel, was "What the hell are you stopping it for?!!")
Yea, but he's never been seriously hurt. Hopkins has a good chin too, but he was rattled against Atwon Echols in their first fight.
Chuvalo had one of the best chins of any fighter who ever lived. When I talk about chins, few come to mind. Sugar Robinson, Ali, Chuvalo, Hagler, Marciano, Chavez... There are so many others I've forgotten, but these are the guys who came to mind.
Geroge Chuvalo had one hell of a chin. It's difficult to pick a winner, but Margarito also has one Hell of a chin. I give Margarito the edge though.
