George Chuvalo vs David Tua

    When Chuvalo´s prime ended (end 60s), he has lost 15 times. Early career, mid career, end of the career, whatever.

    When Tua prime ended (constantly overweight Lewis onwards), he was 37-1 with 90 % KOs.

    Both prime and in shape, Chuvalo is not winning this.

    Chuvalo was a great gatekeeper, but in order to be a favorite against Tua you ought to have something more in your resume than a lucky Quarry win.

    No actually he wasnt, he caught up and despatched faster guys than Chuvalo, who would be right there in front of him.

    The Chuvalo that fought Patterson, would box circles around Tua.

    Tua and he'd actually win easier than most think

    Chuvalo would get in the pocket and get outdone via Tuas power and combinations

    Tua was bigger, hit harder, was much faster and could match George in strength, chin and stamina. Tua beats him up.

    Chuvalo lost to Patterson, just as he lost to Buster Mathis,Eduardo Corletti, and Bonavena.Chuvalo never out boxed ANY CLASS BOXER.Look it up!

    Didn´t we have a thread with Oscar Bonavena beating Mike Tyson?
    Uhhhm yep, I mean, its not like Bonavena lost to Patterson too :lol:
