    Yes there's that chance of Holmes stopping him, his face battered and against the ropes. George would try like hell to get at Larry but Holmes way to good.

    I can see that measure-with-the-left-and-viciously-shoot-the-right thing that Larry did a lot of, especially against an already cut and puffed up Chuvalo.

    I think the main problem with Larry pulling that off would be getting George on the ropes in the first place. He'd have to land something hard when George was off-balance, otherwise I'm not sure he could put and keep George on the ropes (especially earlier in the fight). George had a lot of pride, and it showed in his fights.

    He was...but after a certain point Chuvalo vs holmes wouldn't be very competitive and he'd be landing laser lefts, 1-2's, and flurries on Chuvalo at will and it would look ugly. His corner or the ref likely stops it despite being on his feet as he takes needless punishment.
