Lewis a bit young and inexperienced. I'd take a 1998 Lewis over any version of Foreman. Foreman is really a limited and very crude slugger. Outboxed by any good boxer who's at least his size. An seasoned version of Lewis would easily take him apart from the outside and make Foreman stumble around like a drunken sailor.
LOL@ you.... While Foreman is certainly not polished but he never ever would loose to ham and eggers like McCall or Rahman.......by ONE punch. Lewis was wayyyyyyyyyy cautious when faced with a threat, just look at him being scared shitless of getting caught by a shot Tyson or a fat one trick pony Tua. Anyway, Foreman WILL bring the heat, win , loose or draw and he WILL land .......and once Lemmie is down he stays down......and Foreman has shown he can get up and win a fight. IMO Foreman will come out guns blazing , force Lewis into a OK corral type of fight, catch him while getting tagged too and finish him. One thing is for sure too, Foreman can take Lewis's best but Lemmie ain't taking Foremans best shot, no way in hell.
This But then when the poll was made it was Americans Time. Brits were fast asleep. And we all know Americans CANT STAND Lewis after he demolished overrated bum Tyson
ya we are talking about a baby lennox 1992 he's such a wkille cute baby tiger back then all 1992 and fresh from da olympics and purring so he not rdy for big grizzly ugly gorilla foreman but baby lenny will grow up to be big lennox and ko george
92 Lewis loses via tko mid rounds. Not sure why this version of Lewis is being used (maybe op doesn't know much about Lewis?), prime for prime say Lewis of the Golota fight I'd pick Lewis by mid to late Tko.
The TS is a ****** He uses 1992 version of Lewis because that is the only version George can beat.. he is probably patting himself on the back saying 'grats I found a version of Lennox George can beat' yippeee
This scenario is the only one where i would probably favor Big George, but '92 'Will Smith' 'SPX' Lewis never had a glove landed on him by Ruddock and was fast, athletic and deadly when faced with a top challenge here. He was still doing ok and was compact before the regression under Correa kicked in, in '93. I'm not saying Ruddock is a prime Foreman by any stretch, but i don't see it being clear cut like some.
Realistically any version of Foreman, even the 47 yo, has a punchers chance vs any version of Lennox, but yeah, prime raging Foreman blows green Lewis away. Lewis was really like fine wine. Everything he did and was was better in his last fight than it was in the fight previous. Sadly the bottle got uncorked early at 37 when Lewis gave us his crowning performances, crushing Tyson than taking everything an upncoming Vitali had to give.
Personally I like Lewis from the Tua fight as the best match up against foreman. the myth of Lewis' glass chin should have been put to rest when he took a green, but a physically peak Vitali's best shots. Although Vitali is no George he still hits ****ing hard and landed around 150 on Lenny that night. If were talking Lewis from the Tua fight I think he takes Foreman's few shots that he lands (Lewis had great feet movement and head movement to avoid punches) and coasts a UD. Most other versions of Lewis gets blown out before the 5th or maybe stopped late.
