How does Toney fare against comeback George?

Is his new found jab a asset?

Can Toney work his way inside and rack up points, or would George's legendary physical strength send Toney reeling away and across the ring all night?

Foreman by UD. Comeback Foreman was similar to the Peter that beat Toney, but better in every aspect than Sam.

Foreman wouldn't even feel Toneys punches, he may simply walk him down and stop him but obviously it'd be hard to KO Toney so the decision is the more likely outcome.

The heavyweights that James Toney fought were better than any heavyweights that George Foreman fought pre-Holyfield. I think that Toney would have been too elusive and speedy for George Foreman to land much of anything on him. Toney by a unanimous decision!

I believe this could be really dull. George would enjoy around a 6" height advantage, 10" in reach, and a 5 or so pound weight advantage. Comeback George liked to push shorter fighters around, not around the ring so much as to keep them at his preferred distance. He may shove Toney where ever he wants, but he is very unlikely to land anything. Giving up so much in size while being shoved about, Toney is going to have a lot of trouble reaching Foreman with any of his counters.

I believe George would win a decision based mostly on his strength and popularity, because there would be very little established by anyone in the way of an offense.

Bulk and Power Foreman vs Fat and Slippery Toney?

It might be a decision or stoppage.

    Either way, Foreman wins.

  6. Toney fought better heavyweights than the comeback version of Foreman? I guess a washed up Holyfield and a fat Sam Peter is impressive to you. Even Bert Cooper was better than any heayweight Toney fought.

    Foreman by knockout

That's the damaged, faded one, after the brutal beatings he took from Holy & Stewart.

Besides, Heavyweight James Toney did basically nothing, except beat a shot-to-**** Evander who had 3 rounds of stamina. :verysad

The Foreman of the Holy fight knocks him over in round 9. George ahead at time.

Foreman too big and strong..... Foreman plods and pushes a sly Toney around for a 10 rd. decision on HBO..... Toney is slippery, but not able to stall or stop Foreman's pressure and willpower to win..... FOREMAN!

James Toney from the Evander fight has a pretty alright shot and shake of things. Hard to envision.
