Morrison was pretty young and weighed alot less than George. Probably weaker in the clinch and in general, less durable. Zhang on the other hand could probably match foremans physical strength

I pick any version of George Foreman to win vs Zhang. Some would be very competitive, some entertaining with many knockdowns. I think still the Briggs version of Foreman will beat Zhang on points. Washed up Cooney would also have a realistic chance to score and upset. Prime Cooney: 3 rounds!

Did you even see the Morrison vs Foreman fight?

If you think that's how Zhang can beat Foreman then good luck to you. Styles make fights and Morrison and Zhang are completely different. Morrison could stay out of Foreman's way, Zhang cannot. Zhang is going to be right there in front of George and it then becomes a slugfest where it's your power versus the other guy's chin. Well George wins on both counts. Zhang, whom I like by the way, is 40 years old and his two best wins are against Joe Joyce who folded like a deckchair both times and is a very limited boxer. Foreman, in both careers KO'd undefeated champions to win the lineal heavyweight belt. Zhang hasn't even been in a title fight. They are demonstrably just a different level of fighter. One guy is an ATG legend and is acknowledged by many as being the single most destructive puncher in boxing history. The other guy is a big, powerful guy but wouldn't figure in any legitimate list of the top 50 heavyweights of all time. Levels.

Foreman beats Zhang and he beats him every single time. Nobody who ever stood in front of Foreman was able to outlast him. Guys who could move did well against George. Zhang just ain't that guy.

You must have missed Joyce-Parker, where it was proven that:
Joyce > any version of Foreman
    Parker> any version of Holyfield
You don't remember that? I'll give you a hint: Fury is greater than Ali

I'm going to assume you are joking.

Because if you aren't you should consider following a different sport because you clearly know nothing about this one.

But I am pretty sure you are joking.

Has Zhang ever put on a performance that resembles anything like Morrison's against Foreman?

Dude, Zhang is a counter puncher with a defence, quite quick hands. His legs dont move much but his offence is his defence, he isnt a complete frontfoot forward like Frazier, and he definitely doesnt march forward like a Joyce. He will be waiting for George to come in. Like i say there will be no early blowout here. Old Foreman was wise, he would see Zhang as a threat, breaking him down is the best bet.

Foreman '90 was on a mission and formidable.

Zhang looks a bit impressive at mid-to-short range, where his hand speed is accentuated and, in with Joyce, a walking punchbag, he was able take his time to find that range, without too much fear of receiving anything significant in return.

But Zhang won't be able to fight his fight and pick his moments against Foreman and Zhang isn't an out-fighter or stick-and-mover. No, he's going to find himself in Foreman's wheelhouse from the outset and, unlike Joyce, Foreman will deliver heavy returns, which isn't going to bode well for Big Bang.

It would be a considerable step up in class for Zhang and Foreman has to be favored here.

Refer to the title of this thread. It literally contains the name of a skilled, hard-hitting giant that Foreman destroyed inside of two rounds.

1990 Cooney was a shot alcoholic by then, also he was skilled but wasnt nearly as big as Zhang.

You said that any Foreman could beat any Zhang, like the one who couldnt stop crawford grimsley?

    You’re delusional.

40 year old Zhang’s best win is against overrated hack Joe Joyce. He’s not the second coming, he’s a fringe contender in a very poor era. If he was any good he’d have had a title shot by now.

If Zhang fought Foreman 100 times, Foreman would beat him 100 times.

Don’t bother replying, I am done with you.

I could go into why Zhang hasnt had a shot but i dont think you are aware of the current HW boxing scene right now.
Zhang would beat anyone bar Holyfield and maybe Briggs in Foremans 90s run. Easy work Crypty, Good night. Id say he would beat the others by devasting KO, while Old 90s Foreman struggled with lesser fighter than Zhang.
