That's chin not defense. Same thing with David Tua. Was he a defensive specialist?

Why is it so hard for you guys to admit that George Foremans defense was bad?

No you're right, he wasn't. But not getting KO'd & knocked down much, had a lot to do with Foreman's offense as defense, with not only the ability to roll pretty well with shots, but also the ability to absorb a lot with his arms and nullify attacks on the inside.

How many times was Foreman down in his career again?

Do you know what defense means? Is GGG a great defensive fighter?

He had a great chin. His defense was poor.

Understood. I think George was more dynamic defensively than you give him credit for. Horses for courses, as my transatlantic fellow pugilism fans would say! :beer-toast1:

Let me guess, he too beats Zaire Ali, perhaps even easily!

What if he does? Do you expect everyone hit by him to just convulse on the canvas? One of these two has proven he can be dropped or hurt badly and come back to win via KO.

Foreman had one of the best defenses in the business. Again, I really feel for you because you are so far gone and I don't know if I can bring you back to truth and reality. Did you not watch the videos I posted earlier in the thread? No way to refute footage of George Foreman blocking punches, dodging hooks, etc, over and over again, fight after fight, right?

    LMAO

Big George's punching technique apart from his jab was average at best but he must've been doing something right.

I still think Wilder's power is a question mark, now I'm not saying Wilder doesn't have good power in the right hand but how good ? Is still a question mark for me.

He failed to finish off Fury the numerous times he floored him, remember Fury's chin is also so and so and has been dropped and hurt by the likes of Cunningham, Pajkic, etc.

If Wilder stops the likes of Joyce, Ruiz, Joshua, Usyk, etc. Then I'll stand up and take notice.

Foreman in the 70's got hit a lot in 3 different fights out of 46:

    -Ali fight
    -Lyle fight
    -Young fight

    Total knockdowns: 4.

Fury got hit a lot in 8 fights out of 33 fights.

    -Mcdormett
    -Cunninghan
    -Pajkic
    -Chisora 1
    -Wilder 1
    -Wallin
    -Chisora 2
    -Wilder 3

    Total Knockdowns: 6

So apparently you can't do math. Fury got hit a lot in more fights in a shorter career than Foreman. I would also like to point out the quality of several of these opponents who managed to land on Fury is either mediocre or bad.

You can add Pajkic to that list aswell he heavily floored Fury and rocked him, just imagine if Foreman would of been rocked and hit alot by the likes of Pajkic, McDermott, Chisora.

Good point, but he's just going to say "Fury got careless" or "Fury's chin isn't as good as Foreman" while refusing to accept any excuses for Foreman such as the intense heat he experienced in his 2 losses (not to mention terrible advice from his corner). I tried to reason with him and say either both fighters get excuses or neither one of them do and he just stubbornly refuses even that!

I'll edit and add that along with the knockdowns. It honestly doesn't look good now that I think about it.
