Holy wouldn't be doing anything in the fourth or fifth round of a bout with young Foreman.

By that point, he would be back in his dressing room getting checked over by medical staff.

That's what Evander would be wearing for a week or two after his bout with 1973 George.

    Dark, rose coloured shades.

    Tunney ?

Maybe if George had been drinking.

    Heavily.

Best for best, head to head...

Louis: slightly better than 50/50, if he's careful
    Ali: probably
Lennox : same chance as his homonym.

Three bet-worthy underdogs: Jack Johnson, Sonny Liston and Larry Holmes.

Name a top level BOXER Foreman ever beat. He fought two in his prime years...Ali and Young. Both embarrassed him. Tunney in many ways was a better technical boxer than either. Odds are Tunney beats George as did Ali and Young. Louis is just in a totally different category. Great boxer who could rip your head off. Prime Louis kos prime Foreman.

Didn't Norton show he was a top level boxer in his bouts with Ali and Holmes? Foreman handled him pretty easily.

The grandaddy version went the distance and was very competitive.

The prime version delivers the same sauce he gave to Norton and Frazier.

The only difference between old Foreman and young Foreman was speed and pacing. Speed was better when he was younger, pacing was better when he was older. Holyfield showed he could take his power and Foreman didn't lack anything that his prime had. It wasn't a close fight by any means. Holyfield proved he was the better fighter.

Holyfield isn't similar stylistically to Norton and Frazier.

I disagree Holy was freaky strong and the greater the challenge the better he got into the ring. Foreman wasn't all that technical and threw wide and telegraphed I would put money on Holy..... Old Foreman wasn't a bucking bull like he was then but he was bigger, stronger and just better. You only catch Holy when the fight isn't huge like Moorer and Cooper great fan fights but I don't think Holy saw them as a threat and came in the ring and struggled to rise to the occasion. Even in the moorer rematch he was better but not as a top performance. A fight with young Foreman every fighter respects enough to bring there best. This fight looks like Lyle Foreman in action with Holyfields speed and combos along with his chin and will breaking Foreman down mentally..... Remember George was not mentally tough in his first career and Holy could out tough any puncher

BOXER as in fast moving, good defense, craftiness. Foreman fought two top level BOXERS in his career...Ali and Young. Both beat George going away. Foreman feasted upon fighters like Norton and Frazier who stood in front of him, crouching with poor lateral movement.

Tunney, as did Ali and Young, would beat Foreman via great BOXING ability.

Probably? ****ing Probably? This is exactly the crap that I can't stand. PAST Prime Ali beat PRIME Foreman by knockout. It wasn't even a close fight. Ali was up comfortably on the scorecards when Foreman took the 10 count.

Whether or not Ali would have beaten Foreman isn't open for debate. HE DID!

I agree, despite Tunney being only 190 at his highest weight and not really a natural heavyweight I would favor him over Foreman. Great movement, great chin, and most importantly great distance management.
