yep..puts it all in perspective....foreman had more fights after the age of 36 than most anyone that has fought a title in the last 10 years. foreman came into the ring at 45 years old, with a 45 year old body and the mentality of a 20 year old hungry fighter.....took a smacking for 10 rounds...kinda like...a fat 26 year old heavyweight with a 45 year old body....who couldn't land one decent shot in his fight...and cried like a ***** after he got beat up. you had to be there and watch his comeback from 87 and see where he ended up....you had to be there to appreciate it...and know how amazing it was...makes me want to throw up when compared to prime guys now that turn down title shots, fight 1 time a year....quit when they lose...or hug for 12 rounds,,,,george was the man
i liked how just after moorer was counted out foreman looked up then turned around to the corner and kneel down to pray
Man, I love Foreman, I'm glad he KO'd Moorer, and I know he was 45 at the time....but I can't believe how SLOW he was there. How did Moorer even get hit with a single punch in that fight.
You must be wrong, Foreman wasn't slow, like all the past fighters he was fast as lighting!!!! only the heavyweights of today are slow!atsch
Another thing that helps put Foreman's come back in perspective is that Arguello and Danny Lopez tried to pull off something similar and got their asses whipped by guys they would have beat with one hand in the prime.
